Conductor

Formed from aluminium alloy 1350 wire, round compacted, class 2 stranding, according to ASTM B230, conductivity MIN. 61% IACS, optionally lockable, tensile strength MIN 130 MPa.

Conductor Shielding

Extruded semiconductor thermosetting compound (optional for 15kV and 25kV classes).

Inner Cover

Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) thermosetting compound for 90°C conductor operating temperature, meeting the physical requirements prescribed by ICEA S-121-733.

Outer Cover

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) thermosetting compound, resistant to weathering, electrical sparking (2,75kV), ultraviolet radiation and mechanical abrasion, in gray.

Identification

They are supplied in gray with marking as provided for by ASTM B230 and sequential metering.
Note: For harsher environmental conditions, blue cables with higher spark resistance (>5kV) are recommended.
